Masjid Clean Up!

The Prophet (s) taught us that  “Cleanliness is half of faith.”  Join us once a quarter as we help maintain and sustain a clean masjid and strengthen community ties through service!

Please read the information below before registering:

Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Volunteers ages 16–17 may participate independently with parental consent (form provided)
Volunteers 18 and older may participate independently.

Activities will include:
Trash pickup around the mosque property and parking area
Sweeping and organizing outdoor spaces
Organization of outdoor equipment (bikes/scooters/balls/etc)
Light indoor cleaning or storage area organization (time permitting, and as
approved by the facilities team)
Recycling and waste sorting (bins already on site)

Logistics:
Gloves and tools will be provided for hygiene and safety.
Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
All participants (or parents/guardians if under 18) must sign the Volunteer Waiver &
Consent Form before participation.
Youth volunteers (under 16) must remain with their accompanying adult throughout the
event.

Tentative Schedule:
10:00–10:10 a.m. | Welcome, safety briefing, and supply distribution
10:10–11:45 a.m. | Cleanup activities
11:45–12:00 p.m. | Wrap-up, group photo, and refreshments (optional)
