Soul of My Soul Palestinian Plate Art Workshop

Join us on February 8th for the Soul of My Soul Exhibit, a powerful art experience highlighting the centuries-old Palestinian tradition of ceramic plate art. Participants will create hand-painted decorative plates inspired by the vibrant floral and arabesque patterns of Al Khalil, Palestine, while learning about the cultural significance and history of Palestinian ceramics. Guided by Soul of My Soul organizers, attendees will outline and paint their own designs on provided ceramic plates, using art as a form of healing and connection. The event will also feature a 13-minute video sharing the experiences of children living in the occupied West Bank village of Umm al-Khair, followed by an opportunity to express messages of solidarity for the children. A short discussion on how to "Level Up for Palestine" and engage further in support efforts will also be included. Don’t miss this chance to create meaningful art, learn, and stand in solidarity with Palestine. All profits from the Palestinian plate art session will go directly to supporting Palestinians on the ground in Palestine (either Gaza or the West Bank).
